What happens after I file a lawsuit?

Often times when you cannot resolve a matter against someone who has wronged you, the only recourse is to file a lawsuit.  If the matter involves a dispute for money, there is a very specific course your case with go through in the Michigan civil court system.  The vast majority of our clients have no clue on how this process works.  That is expected.  Civil litigation in Michigan is extremely complicated.
