We are extremely proud to announce a significant trial victory against State Farm in the Wayne County Circuit Court. The case, Jones v State Farm, was No-Fault Insurance action that was tried by Omar Sheriff and Pratheep Sevanthinathan. The team obtained a sizable verdict against State Farm despite the insurance company hiring two engineers and four doctors as part of their defense.
Based on the discovery produced, State Farm spent over $40,000 on experts to try and defend its incorrect and illegal decisions. Adding in defense attorney fees and trial costs, this case likely cost State Farm close to six-figures to defend…which begs the question: Why not just be a “good neighbor” and pay the claims?
